I DragonForce, inizialmente denominati DragonHeart, sono una band Speed Metal Britannica nata a Londra nel settembre 1999. Gli inizi Il loro primo nome DragonHeart è stato cambiato nel dicembre 2001 per evitare ambiguità con altre band, etichette e film. La formazione iniziale vedeva i due chitarristi Herman Li e Sam Totman assieme al cantante ZP Theart e al bassista Steve Scott.
