I Dokken sono un gruppo Heavy Metal Statunitense formatosi a Los Angeles nel 1977. Uno dei gruppi più emblematici della scena Heavy Metal Statunitense, i Dokken, fondati dal frontman Don Dokken da cui prendevano il nome, furono un riferimento per uno stile molto raffinato e di buon gusto, composto da lussuose atmosfere di Heavy Metal contornato di AOR e dal look elegante e curato. In questo senso la band si distinse da una buona parte della scena Hair Metal degli anni 80.
