Esperanza è il nuovo gruppo della Gomma Records. La band è composta da Carlo Alberto Dall'Amico (Cécile); Matteo Lavagna (Disco Drive/Refleksie) e Sergio Maggioni (Hot Gossip). Hanno tutti tra i 24 ed i 29 anni. Il primo EP, Sirena, è stato rilasciato a Luglio. Il primo LP, self titled, è stato rilasciato a Dicembre. .

Esperanza Spalding (Portland, 18 ottobre 1984) è una bassista e cantante statunitense. Cresce nel King, quartiere di Portland, zona che lei stessa definisce un ghetto piuttosto malfamato. Le sue origini culturali sono composite: vi si trovano caratteri ispanici, gallesi, americani ma anche e soprattutto africani.
