I Tears for Fears sono un gruppo musicale New Wave britannico di notevole successo formato nei primi anni Ottanta dal chitarrista Roland Orzabal e dal bassista Curt Smith, che venne fuori in seguito allo scioglimento della loro primissima band, i Graduate influenzati dal mod. Essi furono inizialmente associati ai movimenti New Wave e New Romantic ma presto irruppero nel mainstream delle grandi hit parade internazionali. Idles are a heavy post-punk band from Bristol, London and Newport. The success of the band’s debut EP “Welcome” did not go unnoticed and so it happened that BBC Introducing in the Southwest honoured the group as “Band of The Year” in 2012.
