Akira Shintani (新谷あきら) is an alias for collaborative effort of the two artists Akira Yamaoka (山岡晃) and Sana (otherwise known as Sanae Shintani) (新谷早苗), known for their work on Konami's bemani series. The first two songs released under this pseudonym so far is "INJECTION OF LOVE" on IIDX RED, described by the artists as "The steamiest song in IIDX", and "流星☆ハニー" on pop'n'music 12, a trance cover of a song from the "Urusei Yatsura" Anime series. .
