Daniel Dwayne Simmons III (born March 21, 1995 in Queens, New York), better known by his stage name Diggy Simmons or simply as Diggy, is an American rapper and the fourth child of Joseph "Rev. Run" Simmons. Diggy is starting his own clothing and shoe line originally called “Space Age” but changed due to legal reasons to “Space Cadet” and is currently called "Chivalrous Culture", starting in 2009, along with his mentor Pharrel Williams. Diggy-MO' was one of the first Japanese rappers to begin mixing English and Japanese. He has been classically trained on the piano for 10 years, and also studied graphic design in college. He describes his style as "Melody Flow," a mixture of rapping and singing. Diggy formed a rap group in high school. Since SOUL'D OUT's success, he has collaborated with many artists such as m-flo, Heartsdales, SAL, a.mia, artificial intelligence and BENNIE K as a featured rapper. Diggy Dex (real name Koen Jansen) was born in 1980 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. He grew up in Leusden and started MC-ing in 1995. Together with Hux B and Jay-D he rapped in Dutch under the name of De Profeten. In 1997 Diggy met the producers Darin G. and Clenn. He became part of the succesfull group D.A.C, which he left in 2005. In november of 2006 he released his solo album 'Verhalen vanuit de Sofa', under the label Painted Dog/Walboomers.
