The Bachelor Pad (1986 - 1991) left a legacy on their wake. The vinyl output started with the famous Sha La La flexi via "Simply Thrilled" and "Are You Scared to Get Happy" fanzines, before 2 singles with Leeds based Warhola Sound records, a LP with Imaginary Records and 3 releases with Egg Records. The Egg releases included a LIVE EP distributed with several fanzines in the UK, US, Japan, Germany and France. Boom Clap Bachelors spans over everything from electroclash, broken beat over disco to futuristic hip hop and soul. There is a love a mixture of genres, which creates a dynamic musical universe. Boom Clap Bachelors is a collective of live artists, producers and DJs from Copenhagen. The music is being composed and produced by a demo is sent out in the collective - each member then builds more on the music and passes it on. A punk band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2010. Their main influences are spicy chicken burgers, footy and Warwick Capper's flowing mullet. Hyperbole.tv had this to say about their music: "while the bass throbs and the guitar rumbles with giddy fuzz you can’t help but nod your head like a grinning idiot." Their live shows are chaotic at their best, filled with bopping mullets, out of time rock jumps, and the occasional broken instrument.
