Joanne Michèle Sylvie Harris MBE (born 3 July 1964, Barnsley, Yorkshire) is a popular British author. Her first novel, The Evil Seed, was published in 1989, with only limited success. Hogg was born in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and is best known as the lead singer and songwriter with the Christian progressive (or cprog) Celtic/pop/rock band Iona (named after the island Iona).
