Everything is a pop/rock band from Virginia. They were most active in the mid to late '90s and early '00s. The band was formed in 1990 by students at James Madison University. Going on the road full time in '92, they played 200-250 shows a year for nearly the next 10 years, starting in the mid-Atlantic, and then gradually expanding their grass roots fan base until it extended across half of the U.S. The band released its first 3 albums independently, selling almost 30,000 cds before signing a brief and ill-fated deal with Capricorn Records in 1995. Larger scale success...
‘Everything Burns’ are a progressive metal 5 piece from the south west of the UK who formed in mid 2007. They trade in a musical expression that lies dead in between the most pseudo-metallic of emocore and the most melodic and shiny of metalcore. The band originally signed to the UK label Rising Records in mid 2008, who then released their debut album ‘Home’ in February 2010, produced by Mark Daghorn (Orange Goblin, Trigger The Bloodshed). ‘Home’ is eleven songs of fast-paced, hyper-melodic, no-bull metallic music, aimed straight for the domains of what's inspirational and captivating. This is emotional post...
Live from inside your aunt's water heater, it's the sound of a half-dead raccoon trying to beatbox over an ambient drone vinyl record that's incorrectly being played at 45 RPM. Everything Goes Cold, a band whose output mirrors that description in every way possible, is playable in Scrabble. EGC is fronted by Eric Gottesman, a founding member of industrial metal catastrophe Psyclon Nine, and occasional contributor and live member of a slew of other electronic acts, including Ayria, Caustic, Grendel, and the now completely dead raccoon from the previous paragraph. After years being haunted by their refrigerator-cum-robot overlord mascot, Edgar...
The Day Everything Became Nothing is a Goregrind band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in Melbourne in 2002, The Day Everything Became Nothing continues to deliver extreme percussive grind that is characterised by its dirty, muddy sound. The band's name is derived from the EP of the same name by Canadian punk rock band NoMeansNo. The remarkably guttural vocals, by aid of a pitch-shifting Whammy pedal, are done by Tony Forde, of Blood Duster notoriety, but the band originally featured Kody Abrams. Other members include Xavier Irvine (bass), Dean Engert (guitar), Dave Hill (guitar) and Marty Evans (drums). Hill also plays...
