This artist from Japan has an ear for beautiful tones that have one foot in the past and one in the future. His CDs tend to expand on textures of sound, minimalistic in approach but fully realised in textures that Brian Eno would understand deeply. The chording has strong echoes of the Steve Reich sound, but there are other more pleasing diversions from systems music into almost Asmus Tietchens territory. .

The Waking Eyes is a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba and Steinbach, Manitoba. Its current members are Rusty Matyas, Matt Peters, Steve Senkiw and Joey Penner. The band formed after the break-up of two other Manitoba bands, The Pets from Steinbach, and Novillero from Winnipeg. In 2005 the group was nominated for a Juno Award for New Group of the Year but lost to Alexisonfire. .

Mitsuko Uchida (内田 光子 Uchida Mitsuko in giapponese; 10 dicembre 1948) è una pianista classica giapponese. Guitarist Randy Uchida put out out an EP "Deathly Fighter" under his metal band R.U.G. (Randy Uchida Group) in the early 80's. Randy died of cancer on February 10th, 2001. The Kwakiutl Cannibal Society[/artist was a 5 piece screamo/post-whatever band from [placeformed]Rochester, NY. Before disbanding we released a demo and a split 7" with Against the odds on Evergreen Records in 2002.
