I Gorefest sono un band death metal olandese formatasi nel 1988 per mano di: Jan-Chris De Koeijer (voce e basso) , Boudewijn Bonebakker (chitarra) , Frank Harthoorn (chitarra) e da Ed Warby (batteria).
Nella Loro carriera hanno inciso 7 album : "Mindloss" (1991) , "False" (1992) , "Erase" (1994) , "Soul survivor" (1996) , "Chapter 13" (1998) "La Muerte" (2005) , "Rise to ruin" (2007).
I Gorefest dopo due album interlocutori di sperimentazioni stoner-psichedeliche : "Soul survivor" (1996) , "Chapter 13" (1998) " si sciolsero; per poi riprendere l'attività nel 2005 con due album di death metal: "La Muerte" (2005) , "Rise to ruin" (2007). .
