Mike, Paul and Tom started Hexicon in 2004. Beginning life as a lo-fi voice/guitar/french horn combo, the band eventually expanded to include Giles (bass), Andy (drums) and Greg (drums/percussion). Hexicon finally completed their first album in 2009, with a release by Haircut Records in 2010. The result, ‘The Blossom Sighs’ is a collection of studio recorded versions of the garage experiments that graced the CDRs of their early days, songs that have become fan favourites at shows over the last couple of years. Lexicon Avenue, the DJ and production team is made up of Scott Bradford and Chris Scott. The duo have been keeping the North of England's clubbers moving for over a decade with their close involvement with the legendary Shindig club night, the Newcastle based team also spin the world over and produce tracks and remixes for a multitude of labels.
