There are several bands that use the name Arkham. 1) An early '70 French/Belgian progressive rock band that featured keyboard player Jean-Luc Manderlier who would later join Magma, drummer Daniel Denis who would also move on to Magma as well as Univers Zero, and drummer Patrick Cogneaux. Simon Iff? and Emily Ningauble of The Lamp of Thoth formed Arkham Witch in 2008 in Keighley, UK. They recorded a five-song demo that was very well received. Dewey "Pigmeat" Markham (April 18, 1904 – December 13, 1981) was an American entertainer. Though best known as a comedian, Markham was also a singer, dancer, and actor. His nickname came from a stage routine, in which he declared himself to be "Sweet Poppa Pigmeat." He was sometimes credited in films as David "Pigmeat" Markham. He was born in the community of Hayti, Durham, North Carolina.
