Edd Holmes a.k.a Optiv is a Drum & Bass producer from Cause4Concern. Holmes first started his music career in the early 90s working at Dance 2, his local record shop in Guildford. At about the same time he was learning his production skills at SAE in London and also found time to hold a weekend job of assistant engineer at Ministry of Sound nightclub. ''Optivion'' is a musician, artist, and performer currently living in Tokyo, Japan. His instruments include the harmonica, synths and mandolin. Born S.A. Robertson in Atlanta, US, but better known by his stage name OPTIVION. As a kid discovered his love of drawing, reading, painting and making music. Ravaging the works of Jules Verne, Yoshitaka Amano, The Cure, C.S. Lewis, Salvador Dali, Edward Gorey, J.R.R. Tolkien, Edgar Allan Poe, Tim Burton and Sonny Boy Williamson.
