AU.RA is an Australian indie,noise pop, ambient/electronic duo based in Sydney. It is the recording project of Tom Crandles and Tim Jenkins. Both songwriters, the duo met by chance while studying in Sydney. After a few bedroom jams with two guitars, a drum machine and one mic, they immediately “discovered songs amongst the noise”. Hugues Aufray is a French singer, born on August 18, 1929 in Neuilly-sur-Seine. His real name is Jean Auffray. He has Spanish ancestry and he began his career singing in Spanish. Aufray represented Luxembourg in the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest, performing the song "Dès que le printemps revient" and finishing fourth. His most famous songs are "Santiano," "Céline," "Stewball" and in Spanish, "Barco de Papel." Aufray is well known for his French adaptations of Bob Dylan's songs. His sister was actress Pascale Audret (1936–2000) and his niece is actress Julie Dreyfus. .

CamelPhat is a British DJ and production duo, formed in 2008. The two DJs met in 2008 and released their first singles on the label Vice Records two years later. In 2014 they signed with Spinnin' Records. .

Tess Brunet writes songs under the moniker Au Ras Au Ras (oh rah oh rah). Brunet started playing drums in early 2003 while working at S.I.R. studios in New York City as the Accounts Receivable Manger. She primarily writes songs on keys and auto-harp. She is completely self-taught. Brunet has released music under the name deadboy & the Elephantmen (Fat Possum Records), Animal Electric (self-release), and Generationals (Park The Van). She has also played drums for The Lees, Attack Formation, Lady Bo, Fangtar, Twin Tigers, and One Man Machine. .
