There are multiple artists called Das Kapital:

(1) In 1984 Icelandic musician Bubbi Morthens formed Das Kapital. They released one album, Lili Marlene; the song "Svartur gítar" was later included on Geyser, the 1987 Enigma Records compilation of Icelandic bands.

(2) Another band called Das Kapital was formed in 2004 by Marc Ruvolo and Davey Houle in Chicago. They have released two albums: Denying the West (2006) and Died True (2007).

(3) Another band called Das Kapital was formed by the musicians Daniel Erdmann (tenor sax.), Hasse Poulsen (guitar) und Edward Perraud (drums). It's a german-danish-french jazz trio, founded 2002.

(4) Das Kapital is a young Cape Town based electronic musician who made his name with an unofficial remix of Bon Iver's Skinny Love and has subsequently remixed Rob Zombie, Drumsound and Bassline Smith ft Hadouken, Laidback Luke, The Only, HeavyFeet, Sandro Silva, among others.

In January and February 2013 he released two EPs on his own label Do Work Records - Free Trade and All Trades respectively.

(5) There was also a Hungarian post-punk band called Das Kapital in the mid 00's. .
