Siberian suicidal post-punk (Russian: сибирский суицидальный пост-панк, Sibirsky suicidalny post-punk), also known as Siberian suicidal rock, is a term sometimes used referring to Siberian underground rock scene, including such artists as Гражданская оборона, Янка Дягилева, Промышленная Архитектура, Инструкция по Выживанию, Кооператив Ништяк and others. Influenced by Western punk, post-punk and industrial as well as Russian traditional music, Siberian suicidal post-punk artists combined all these elements with lo-fi sounding and dark, depressive - though often black-humored - cryptic lyrics. .
