Né le 24 janvier 1941 à La Nouvelle Orléans, le chanteur R&B Aaron Neville a surtout été connu en tant que membre du groupe The Neville Brothers, mais aussi pour son travail avec le compositeur/producteur Allen Toussaint. Dans les années 90, Neville a pris un tournant surprenant et s’est essayé à la musique country en enregistrant une nouvelle version d'une chanson de George Jones. En 1994, il a fait équipe avec la chanteuse Trisha Yearwood pour un concert de promotion de l’album “Rhythm Country and Blues Session”. L’album est entré dans le top ten des charts pop, R&B et country....

This really has to be heard to be believed. For me, "C'mon" climaxed the set, a modern Ghost Dance conjuring up the spirits of long-dead bluesmen..Elmore James, Robert Johnston and Son House, all taken by the Hellhound in return for a lasting legacy, and no doubt nodding...
Arthur Lannon "Art" Neville (born December 17, 1937) is an American singer and keyboardist from New Orleans. Neville is a part of one of the most famous musical families of New Orleans, the Neville Brothers. He was also a founding member of The Meters, and also continues to play with the spinoff group the The Funky Meters. Cyril Neville (born in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 10, 1948), is a percussionist and vocalist who first came to prominence as a member of his brother Art Neville's funky New Orleans-based band, The Meters. He later joined Art and his other siblings Aaron and Charles to form the Neville Brothers band upon the dissolution of the Meters in the late 1970's. The youngest, and most politically outspoken of the brothers, his lyrics often contain themes addressing racism, injustice and social issues.
