Ayreon est un projet créé par Arjen Anthony Lucassen, multi-instrumentiste hollandais. Le style musical d'Ayreon provient majoritairement du heavy metal et du rock progressif, auxquels viennent s'ajouter d'autres genres tels que la musique folk, la musique classique et la musique électronique, créant un genre musical original. La majorité des albums d'Ayreon sont regroupés sous l'appellation Opéra Rock aux vues des nombreuses lignes narratives et des dialogues parlés ou chantés par divers personnages, chacun représenté par un chanteur différent. Fayray was raised in America as a child where she was influenced by both her parents and the music of the time (the 80's). She made her unofficial debut in 1999 with the album Craving, with her first official single, My Eyes, following in 2000. Understatement would appear to be a common theme with Fayray as she isn't particularly well-known outside Japan. Dayroom was an alternative rock band from Athens GA that played throughout the 1990's. With a relentless tour schedule, they performed over 200 shows a year for over 8 years. The band spent most of its time in the southeast and midwest as well as a few jaunts to the northeast and a month long stint in Europe playing a residency at the legendary rock club "Chesterfields" in Paris and Madrid.
