Deft is an electronic music producer based in Croydon, London, United Kingdom. Despite his young age, Deft has already managed to establish a sonic personality in his music that is earning him support from all the right people, in all the right places. Deftype has been producing since 1998 in his homestudio. The Gemischtwaren ep is his first publication, released on the Phonocake Netlabel. Soon, more releases were publicised on different other netlabels. Living and working in Dresden, Deftype creates music, that as he says is a kind of diary that consists of tracks, associations, feelings of one year or any other given amount of time. In the winter of 2003 Black Bonzo was formed from the ashes of the 8-piece psychedelic rock group Gypsy Sons Of Magic. The first 6 month the band practiced 24 hours a day in their rehearsal room in Skellefteå, Sweden. They worked really hard trying to find a sound of their own and getting the mood right for the songs. Soon after that a demo was produced with 17 songs.
