Felt est un groupe pop des années 80. Il se fonde à Birmingham en 1979 par Lawrence Hayward (chanteur) et Maurice Deebank (guitariste), lequel quittera le groupe en 1986.
Felt sort un premier album, Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty en 1981 sur le label Cherry Red et aura un peu de succès avec les albums Ignite the Seven Cannons (1985) produit par Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins), le très pop Forever Breathes The Lonely Word (1986) et leur dernier album, Me And A Monkey On The Moon (1989) produit par Adrian Borland, chanteur de The Sound.

The Tips were a band started around 1999 by Michael Bishop, of GWAR, Kepone, and later American Grizzly with vocalist Bunny Wells. Their sound was somewhat similar to what one would expect Kepone to play, except with slightly lighter sound. The band mainly played shows, having only recorded one demo which wasn't released in any official form. They split up some time afterward. Unfortunately, not much is known of the band. .
