Dressed as sailors with shironuri makeup, influenced by the eroguro nonsense movement, they play fancy rock, which can be describes as a mix of rock, funny song and electronic. Starting more like a Yoshikawa-centered band with quirky electronic dancing sounds, Taiheiyou Belt become more like a electro-rock full band since the third album, with new members adding others instruments.
