Formed in Ostrava, Czech Republic in 1991, Malignant Tumour was one of the first grindcore/mincecore bands in their state, with Martin Bilos Bílek being the only constant member throughout the band's career. For a considerable period of time, they bore a so-called gore image in their music and lyrics, and released a bunch of split CDs and demo records until switching to socially aware lyrics with such topics as inequality, fascism, racism, homophobia, and worldwide enslavement systems. Tumour is a one-man ultra-splattering goregrind / gorenoise project from Oegstgeest, Holland, The Netherlands. Rogier Kuzee (ex-Last Days of Humanity, ex-Intumescence, Carnival of Carnage, Trauma-Team!, Bodies in the Basement and who ran Mangled Maggot Stew) is behind the project. .
A grindcore project born out of silly ideas and a desire to do something more serious. Malignant Germ Infestation is the work of one man, but for live shows a number of guest musicians are called upon to help. Currently performing with the band are Chris from Tora! Tora! Tora! and David from ManBearPig Their live shows are notorious for theatrics and costumes, generally offering a new stage show every time they play. .
