Haila María Mompié González est né le 28 janvier 1974 a Las Tunas dans l'est du pays. Depuis l'enfance, la danse, la musique et le chant étaient pour elle trés important. Après les études de danse, elle adhérait depuis 1991 chez des groupes différents et elle a été engagée dans de nombreux comédies musicales et cabaret cubains. En 2001, Haila a décidé de commencer sa carrière. Son premier album paraissait sous la conduite du chanteur et producteur Isaac Delgado. Haile a montré une fois de plus son talent exceptionel, sa volonté et sa passion pour la musique pour faire d'elle...

Active in music and the art world, Mikhail Karikis was first spotted by music innovators Björk and Graham Massey and selected for commercial release on Björk's 'Army of Me' album. He has released alongside Scanner, David Toop and others. His music spans from electronica, to alternative pop, Balkan folk and avant-garde.
