Monsta, best know for his illustrations, is a Dubstep musician, but has also experimented with multiple genres such as Gabba, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ragga, Grime and Drum And Bass. Blokkmonsta (* 1983 in Berlin; mit bürgerlichem Namen Björn D.) ist Rapper, Produzent sowie Inhaber des Berliner Independent-Labels Hirntot Records.[1] Über die Hiphop-Szene hinaus wurden Blokkmonsta und sein Musiklabel vor allem wegen eines Gerichtsverfahrens bekannt, in dessen Verlauf er u.a. als erster Künstler außerhalb der Rechtsrock-Szene wegen Volksverhetzung verurteilt wurde. Blokkmonsta begann bereits 1998, Musik zu machen. 2003 war er ein Mitglied des Berliner Rap-Labels TWB (TrueWestBlock), bei dem er ein komplettes Album aufnahm, das jedoch nie veröffentlicht wurde.
