SABIR was the lingua franca spoken in the Mediterranean ports during the medieval times, a language based on Catalan, Greek and Arab elements among others. It was born like a kind of natural progression due to the socialising of the merchants for whom the sea had become their home; people from many different cultures who were shaping their need to be understood by means of this new born language. Seabird is a rock band hailing from Northern Kentucky. They originally started out with Aaron Morgan (lead singer, and keys) playing songs with bassist Micah Landers, keys and accordion player B.O.D. and drummer Aaron Hunt and later added Chris Kubik on bass. They recorded an e.p. titled "Spread Your Broken Wings and Try" in one of the band members bedroom. After adding a guitarist, Aaron Morgan’s brother, Ryan, their e.p was passed on to EMI records, and after playing a personal showcase, Seabird was signed soon after. Turkish alternative rock band, formerly known as "spitney beers", founded in 2002. They have established their fan base while taking stage on Mondays at Beyoglu Mojo Rock Bar in Istanbul. As they evolve, they have started to play their own songs along with covers from 80s and 90s, published their first demo in 2005, and started recording their debut album in 2006.
