The Cambridge Singers is an English mixed voice chamber/choral group formed in 1981 by their director John Rutter with the primary purpose of making recordings under their own label "Collegium". The group initially comprised former singers from Clare College, where Rutter had previously been the music director. They have been involved in the last four Fresh Aire albums (about "mankind's curiosities") of the Mannheim Steamroller band, by composer Chip Davis, but they are primarily a classical choral group. They have recorded several highly acclaimed Christmas albums, including Christmas Night, Christmas Star, Christmas with the Cambridge Singers, and The Cambridge Singers...

The world-famous choir from the esteemed Cambridge University college. from Official Site: The Choir owes its existence to King Henry VI, who envisaged the daily singing of services in his magnificent chapel. This remains the Choir's raison d'être, and is an important part of the lives of its 16 choristers, who are educated on generous scholarships at King's College School, and the 14 choral scholars and two organ scholars, who study a variety of subjects in the College. .

The Choir of Trinity College Cambridge has established itself as one of the leading mixed-voice choirs in the UK. The Choir comprises around thirty Choral Scholars, all of whom are ordinarily undergraduates of the College. The choir has taken various forms since its foundation, and has existed in its present form since 1982 when, shortly after the admission of girls to the University of Cambridge, female voices were used for the first time for the choir’s top lines. Four regular services are sung per week in full University Term, and the choir also sings Latin grace from the minstrels' gallery...
