August Burns Red est un groupe de Metalcore chrétien de Lancaster en Pennsylvanie formé en mars 2003. En 2004, le groupe est signé chez CI Records et sortent un EP appelé Looks Fragile After All. Après un an pendant lequel le groupe donne de nombreux concerts, le groupe signe chez Solid State Records en 2005 et le premier album du groupe, Thrill Seeker, voit le jour le 8 novembre de la même année.
