Hinder est un groupe américain originaire d'Oklahoma City, Oklahoma formé en 2001 par le batteur Cody Hanson, le guitariste Joe Garvey, et le chanteur Austin Winkler. Ils on sorti leur premier EP "Far From Close" sur un label indépendant, Brickden Records. Il s'est vendu à environ 5000 exemplaires. Les trois membres ont alors commencé à travailler sur de nouvelles chansons en 2004. Ces demos attirèrent l'attention de plusieurs majors.
En avril 2003, avant le succès, Hinder s'inscrit au tremplin March Bandness organisé par la radio Clear Channel's 94.7 The Buzz à Oklahoma City. Ils ont atteint les quarts de finale...
Behind the Sun was formed on the edges of the Negev desert in the south of Israel. The music and lyrics speak of their personal trials and tribulations living in this heavenly but harsh land. The music contains: heavy, electric, tube driven riffing, blended with progressive styles and sensibilities and their own skeptical, cynical, but in the end positive philosophy as written word and amplified sound.
The music and the musicians themselves are influenced and inspired by 70s progressive rock, 90s grunge and modern heavy music including such diverse touchstones as The Who, Opeth, The Grateful Dead, King Crimson, Mastodon,...
Behind the Scenes was founded in 1993 by Melrow (Vocals, Programming), and Fred B.(Bass, Programming). Started as a small project, Behind the Scenes quickly grow and the first demo-tape was recorded.
In 1998 they recorded their first album, called "FRAGMENT" which entered directly into the german alternative charts (DAC) and stayed there for several weeks.
Their second album "HOMELESS" was released in 2000 by "Bloodline" and afterwards in the USA through Dancing Ferret Disks. And again they´ve entered the german alternativ charts with the Single-CD "Human". By the way there was an US-version of the "HOMELESS" containing 3 bonus tracks...
Formed in 2009, A VERY OLD GHOST BEHIND THE FARM is based on a visceral desire to break down barriers between doom, sludge, blackened metal, stoner and crust. You will find in this mass grave the scattered remains of a moribund Black Sabbath, some putrefying limbs of Acid Bath and the emaciated corpse of Khanate violating the consanguineous carcasses of Eyehategod and Crowbar.
