Having already made a name for himself in his home country of Russia, Leonid Rudenko has now set his sights on conquering the rest of Europe. With a cluster of impressive releases already under his belt and the sure-fire hit “Everybody” out February 16th, 2009 certainly looks to be the year that the Russian makes his mark. The Moscow born star-in-the-making started out early, spending much of his time from the tender age of ten onwards holed up in his bedroom, honing his production skills. In the fall of 1977 at a John Cale concert at CBGB the opening band was the Mumps. Sitting in the front row was the president of their fan club, Bill Arning. He was 16. A couple of other teenagers named David Scharff and Phillip Shelley, who came in from the suburbs to see Cale, arrived early to get good seats.
