Maia Hirasawa est une chanteuse (pop/acoustique/folk) aux origines suédoise et japonaise, née le 5 mai 1980 à Sollentuna (à côté de Stockholm) où elle grandit, puis part vivre quelques temps à Göteborg. Elle s'est fait connaître en étant d'abord choriste pour le groupe d'Annika Norlin: Hello Saferide. Elle sort son premier album, Though I'm Just Me, en 2007. Son premier single est intitulé And I Found This Boy .
