Headlights were an indie rock band from Champaign, IL, formed in 2004-2010. The band was formed following the dissolution of Absinthe Blind, when members Erin Fein, Seth Fein and Brett Sanderson formed a band named Orphan (not Orphans, as it is commonly misspelled). It was only when Tristan Wraight started writing songs with Fein that Headlights was formed. The band has since expanded to include Nick Sanborn of Decibully. They have toured the United States and Europe multiple times.

"Avantasia" est né en 1999 en tant que "side-project" du leader et chanteur d'Edguy (power metal allemand), Tobias Sammet.
Sont sortis deux albums ("The Metal Opera", et "The Metal Opera Pt. II"), structurés selon le schéma d'un opéra classique. Ces deux albums peuvent être qualifiés de power metal et/ou de métal symphonique. Après avoir annoncé qu'il n'y aurait pas de troisième partie à cette saga, Tobias Sammet, le 28 décembre 2006, a déclaré, sur son propre site web, travailler à l'écriture de la suite d'Avantasia.
