Fondé en 1980 à San Francisco par Tom Hunting & Kirk Hammet, Exodus prend véritablement son envol avec l’arrivée de Gary Holt, qui devient son compositeur principal, puis de Paul Baloff, son chanteur charismatique. Peu après le départ de Hammet chez Metallica, le groupe de la Bay Area complète son line up avec Rick Hunolt, fin prêt pour l’enregistrement de son premier album. Initialement prévu sous le nom de A Lesson In Violence en 1984, mais faute de trouver une illustration en rapport avec son titre, le disque est finalement intitulé Bonded By Blood, et sort en avril de l’année...

This band was formed in 1991 by Eric Hilton, co-founder with his partner Fari Ali of the legendary DC Acid Jazz party named Exodus. Eric decided to create the atmosphere of this legendary club on record. Most of the tracks of the album "Way Out There"(1996) were writen, produced and played by Eric Hilton. Later on, Rob Garza and Eric Hilton met at Eighteenth Street Lounge in May 1995.
