As the lead singer and co-songwriter of Highwater Rising, Aidan has written songs that have been featured in several feature films as well as virtually every major hit TV show including: THE OC, SEX and the CITY, NORTH SHORE, BOSTON PUBLIC, LAGUNA BEACH and ONE TREE HILL.
The band's second album, The In Between, was co-produced by multi-platinum producer Eric Valentine (Smash Mouth, Queens of the Stone Age, Persephone's Bees). With 9 of its 10 tracks licensed, the album is one of the most licensed independent albums of all time.

Light of Aidan came into being when two writers and producers both with a passion for music, in particular chill-out/ambient music, got together to inspire each other and to to try and create a fresh innovative sound. The result is three tracks signed to Chill-out label "Cafe Del Mar" and collaborations with some of the finest singers around. Light of Aidan continue to make music together and separately whenever needs must.

Ce musicien multi-instrumentiste et écrivain de renommée originaire de Toronto est un des artistes électroniques canadiens les plus prolifiques. Il a lancé plus d'une trentaine d'albums complets sous différentes étiquettes indépendantes dans le monde, sans compter les EP, compilations, collaborations et autres projets : Nadja, Mnemosyne et ARC. En tant qu'artiste solo, Aidan Baker explore en profondeur les possibilités sonores de la guitare électrique. Il créé un horizon musical qui s'étend de l'expérimental au post-rock et au classique contemporain. C'est après avoir reçu une formation classique en flûte qu'il a lui-même appris la guitare, la batterie et plusieurs autres instruments....
