Modest Mouse est un groupe indie rock Américain. Le groupe a été formé en 1993 à Issaquah, Washington par le chanteur/parolier/guitariste Isaac Brock et est constitué du batteur Jeremiah Green, du bassiste Eric Judy, et par la suite du guitariste Dann Gallucci. Cependant, depuis leur premier album en 1996 This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About, la composition du groupe a changé régulièrement, avec notamment le départ de Dann Gallucci. L'ancien guitariste de The Smiths Johnny Marr rejoint le groupe en mai 2006, pour travailler sur l'album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank....

“…As rough as Paul Simon, as commercial as Ingmar Bergman and as sophisticated as Britney Spears!” Lonny (Lionel) Ziblat is an Israeli / Argentinean composer who was brought up in a mixture of clutures and musical tastes. Modest Midget was initialy a vague fantasy that surfaced in his mind, which eventualy found its home in the middle of the crossing point between different styles that would normally collide with each other. He gathered some songs that didn't fit in any other frame he'd known and started recording them, giving each the special attention it craved for. Strange as it may...

Changing Face came together in 2004 when four friends from the North Bay Area of California got together with a mission to write straight-to-the-point hardcore music. The band recorded two demos and in late 2005 the band entered Deathbot Studios (Alcatraz) with Phillip Deveroux to record a new EP. "Our Last Chance" is the result of that recording session; seven tracks of venomous hardcore that draws similarities to Figure Four, Madball, Knuckledust, and Folsom. Changing Face had their last show on Dec 23, 2006. Members of Changing Face can be be found playing in Crucified. .
