Parasitic Extirpation began its existence in the fall of 2007 shortly after the disintegration of New England death metal outfit Porphyria. Blue Spinazola (Guitar, also of Dysentery/Sexcrement) and Tim Murphy (Vocals) were left to press on and continue brutalizing, and they did by quickly recruiting ex-The Taste of Silver drummer Alex Carrara to solidify a concrete foundation. The group then integrated Drew Copeland-Will of Proteus/Dysentery into the low end pocket and Chris Kessaris (3 Headed Monster) into lead guitar position. Vim Patior is a Melodic Black Metal band formed in Poland. The band members are Haar lead vocalist and bass player, Vim, the guitarist and drum programmer and Lunar, whom does keyboards. On the contrary of the typical Black Metal lineups, the band has a very Space-like Atmosphere, which is seen to be a unique property of Black Metal. Many demos and such have been recorded but the one and only full-length album is "Magni Nominis Umbra", a 1999 Black Metal hit. Responsible for the third release on Involve are Patio; Smith (Aspen/Signer) and Upton (Jet Jaguar) in collaboration. A project that grew from the mutual admiration between the producers, Smith wanted to apply Upton's sampling skills to his own ambisonic textures. The Patio sound takes the best particles from the solo material and puts them through an aural blender. The results are more electro than Jet Jaguar and more bassy and concise than Aspen. After meeting on college radio in the late 80’s, Jonny Cuba & the Loop Professor realised they had similar tastes in hip-hop, films and all things funky.
