Incognito est un groupe anglais de jazz-funk (à l'origine) fondé par le guitariste Jean-Paul Maunick et Paul Williams en 1980. Leur premier album "Jazz Funk" est paru en 1981. Après un silence discographique de près de 10 ans, parait l'album "Inside Life". A partir de cette période commence la phase la plus prolifique du groupe avec les albums "Tribes, Vibes + Scribes", "Positivity" et "100° and Rising" considérés comme leurs meilleures productions.
