Soledad Brothers est un groupe américain de garage rock originaire de Maumee, Ohio, très influencé par le blues et le rock. Le trio est formé de Ben Swank à la batterie, Johnny Walker au chant et à la guitare et Oliver Henry au saxophone et à la guitare. Le groupe a déjà quatre albums à son actif : Soledad Brothers sorti en 2000, Steal Your Soul and Dare Your Spirit to Move, sorti en 2002, Voice of Treason sorti en 2003 et The Hardest Walk sorti en 2006. .

Surrounded by her father's jazz and blues records in her childhood home of Concepcion, Chile, Soledad Vélez began to play guitar and sing at the age of 13, usually accompanying what was on the turntable. A few years later, she started a short-lived teen rock band with her sister---then moved to Argentina to pursue songwriting before being convinced by musician friends to relocate to Valencia, Spain. There, she sang in a jazz quartet before deciding to concentrate solely and exclusively on her own songs for the first time. Insolents were a Hardcore Punk band from San Diego, CA.. They were active from the early 80's until late 80's. During this time they released one 7", one LP and constributed to several compilations, almost all of those recordings were released on Mystic Records. Their first output was the "Spout Off!" 7", released in 1983. Four years later they released the "Spit In The Mirror" LP.
