Bamboleo is a collaboration of several of the most talented young musicians in Cuba. Group Home est un groupe de Hip-Hop new-yorkais composé de deux rappeurs : Lil'Dap et Melachi the Nutcracker. Ils font leur apparition au début des années 90 au sein de la Gangstarr Foundation. Lil'Dap intervient notamment sur la chanson "I'm the Man" de l'album Daily Operation (1992) de Gangstarr. Leur premier album, Livin' Proof (1995), en grande partie produit par DJ Premier (Gangstarr) ,est devenu un classique. Un deuxième album, A Tear for the Ghetto, fut produit en 1999. .

Over three decades ago, the band that would become Blue Oyster Cult created two albums' worth of recordings for Elektra, using a different name for each album's sessions, first Oaxaca and then The Stalk-Forrest Group, and, after delivery of the finished recordings to Elektra, neither album was ever released.
