The Fibonaccis rose out of the early-'80s punk scene in Los Angeles, CA. Drawing from a wide range of influences including film scores, circus music, as well as an interest in bizarre pop culture in general, the band took their name after Leonardo Fibonacci, the 14th Century Italian mathematician. The group's first lineup consisted of Magie Song (vocals, percussion), John Dentino (keyboards), Joe Berardi (drums, percussion), and Ron Stringer (guitar, bass). Fibonaccis' first record was released in 1982 on the Index label, (fi'-bo-na'-chez). Mixing their many influences, the band emerged with intelligent keyboard passages, over-the-top vocals, and surf-influenced guitar work....

La soprano Patricia Petibon est née en 1970 à Montargis. Dès son enfance, elle s’intéresse au piano et aux beaux-arts et obtient un prix de musicologie au Conservatoire de Paris, où elle fait ensuite des études de chant avec Rachel Yakar, remportant un premier prix en 1995. Elle est alors découverte par le célèbre chef d’orchestre et claveciniste américain William Christie et travaille ensuite fréquemment avec son ensemble spécialisé dans la musique baroque, Les Arts Florissants : elle se produit avec Christie au Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, à La Scala de Milan, au Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires et au Wigmore Hall...

Il existe deux groupes nommés Eibon: ** Un "supergroupe" de black metal américano-norvégien, fondé par Maniac (Mayhem) et Killjoy (Necrophagia). Ils furent rejoint par Fenriz (Darkthrone), Satyr (Satyricon) et Phil Anselmo (Pantera). ** Un groupe de sludge/doom originaire de Paris, comprenant le bassiste et le guitariste de Drowning. Le groupe a sorti en 2007 un split avec un autre groupe parisien, Hangman's Chair, puis en 2008 un EP sur le label Aesthetic Death records. Leur premier album, "Entering Darkness" est prévu pour le printemps 2010. .
