(1) Gimp was a punk rock band from East Brunswick, New Jersey. The band consisted of frontman Tomas Kalnoky (aged 15) on guitar, Jason Scharenguivel as the bassist, and Chris Greer on drums. Tomas' brother, Achilles, played violin on the track Supernothing. This track is notable because Kalnoky later re-recorded it with two of his later bands (Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto). Gimp released one album in 1995; a cassette tape entitled Smiles for Macavity. While the cassette is nearly impossible to find, the tracks can be found on the internet.
