C'est à l'âge de 6 ans que Demi Lovato (née le 20 août 1992 à Albuquerque, Nouveau-Mexique) commence à jouer la comédie en obtenant un rôle régulier dans l'émission pour enfant "Barney" et rencontre notamment sa meilleure amie Selena Gomez (Alex Russo dans "Les Sorciers de Waverly Place").
