Kreva est un « hip-hop MC » et un producteur sous les labels « Burger Inn Records » et « Pony Canyon« . Il suit une carrière solo mais a fait partie de groupes réputés tels que « Kick the Can Crew« , »By Phar the Dopest » avec son ami MC de longue date, Cuezero, et d’autres groupes japonais de hip-hop du « Funky Grammar Unit » (sorte de collectif d’artistes japonais).

Takanori Nishikawa chante depuis le lycée, et a fait auparavant parti d'un groupe de visual rock nommé Luis~Mary de 1989 à 1993 (séparé), sous le pseudonyme "HAINE".
Il rencontre le producteur et compositeur Daisuke Asakura en 1995. Ce dernier produit un premier single, BLACK OR WHITE ? sous le nom de Daisuke Asakura expd. Takanori Nishikawa.
