As legend has it, after several failed attempts at starting an actual band, normalboy began making electronic sounds on an old family computer sometime after the dawn of the millennium. Somewhere in 2002/2003 he began sharing said sounds via sites such as dmusic and soundclick, as well as with various online friends.

At the beginning of 2007 in semi-accordance with the rules of the RPM Challenge normalboy unleashed his first beast of an album known as Dead Signal, laying waste to the entire music industry from then on, changing the world forever. In this first phase of global domination, normalboy borrowed heavily from such musical acts as M83, Deru, Venetian Snares, Datach'i, Boards of Canada, Covenant and Bola. With this inspiration, Dead Signal has left many still talking in obscure IRC cesspools all over the world [wide web].

Not much else is known about normalboy, his existence has been debated around electronic music campfires for centuries. After the release of Dead Signal in 2007 normalboy seemed to vanish into thin air. The only traces of this phantom artist have been the occasional bits of mp3 data left seemingly at random on his webspace. Only time will tell when this electronic music phantasm will rise again to bring the music industry to it's knees... AGAIN. .
