With the growing desire to play their own music not fit for their cover band, GPS, Maxime Bellerose (ex-Lacrimae Mortalium), Paolo Di Stefano and Mathieu Savage decided to get together with drummer Pierre-Hugues Rondeau (ex-Hope&Horror), to try and fill this void. After a few rehearsals jamming on Melodic Metal riffs, the sound naturally progressed towards wahat Tunguska Mammoth is now: a combination of the energy of Metal and Hardcore mixed with Stoner groove and progressive rock’s intensity. Their first EP intitled “First Chapterse”, corded in their own rehearsal studio, serves as an introduction for the band’s forthcoming concept album. Tunguska Mammoth has played its first notes and wants to be heard.

Le groupe a débuté lorsque le désir de créativité s’est emparé de Maxime Bellerose (ex-Lacrimae Mortalium), Paolo Di Stefano et Mathieu Savage, qui jouaient dans un groupe de covers rock (Les GPS). Pierre-Hugues Rondeau (ex-Hope&Horror) s’est joint à la formation et c’est à ce moment que les premières lignes pour le groupe Tunguska Mammoth se sont écrites. Après un court début dans le Metal Mélodique, ils se sont réorientés vers ce qu,ils aiement le plus, combinant l’énergie du Métal et du Hardcore avec le groove du Stoner et l’intensité du Progressif. Leur premier EP « First Chapters », enregistré au Studio 356, est un prélude pour l’album concept à venir. Tunguska Mammoth envoie ses premières notes et souhaite se faire entendre. .
