Nick Beggs (born 15 December 1961) is an English bassist and Chapman Stick player, probably best-known for his work with Kajagoogoo, a band he formed in 1979 with Steve Askew, Jez Strode and Stuart Neale in his native Leighton Buzzard. The band was originally known as Art Nouveau, and after limited success (they were played on John Peel's radio show) the hit the big time in 1983 after changing their name and recruiting Limahl (Christopher Hamill) as their new front man.

After Kajagoogoo / Kaja split around 1985, Beggs went on to form Ellis Beggs & Howard with keyboardist Simon Ellis and singer Austin Howard. EB&H disbanded around 1990, and Beggs went on to play with Iona for several years.

Beggs now spends a lot of time as a sideman to various projects and artists (Steve Howe, Gary Numan, Cliff Richard, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Howard Jones, Seal and many others have utilised his talents) and has also released two solo albums, Stick Insect and The Maverick Helmsman. .
