After the end of the Atlanta indie rock band the Rock*A*Teens, singer and songwriter Chris Lopez focused on this new project, playing most of the instruments on the record, with a few friends helping out mostly on drums. He has assembled an all-star live version of the band featuring the amazing Fran from the Tom Collins playing bass for the first time ever in a band, as well as former 'teens Jeffrey Wiggins and Will Fratesi .
Right now there are 4 bands with the name TENEMENT. One is located in (1) Berlin (Germany), another one in (2) Dundee (Scotland), another from (3) Neenah/ Appleton, Wisconsin (United States), and finally one (4) Bristol (England). Tenement Kids are a raw punk band from The Netherlands, formed in 2005. They are best known in the European punk rock scene for their energetic and unpolished live performance. In january 2007 they released a debute EP called "Doves" on Crucial Attack Records. Later that year they appeared on the notorious Dutch punk compilation Glory Days, which also featured befriended bands Brat Pack, The Real Danger and Union Town. By the end of 2008, November, Crucial Attack Records released their new album "We've All Been Down" on Vinyl. Later they will also put out "Doves" on Vinyl. .
