Γενιά Του Χάους (Genia Tu Haus, translation: Generation Of Chaos) is probably the most influential Greek punk band of the 1980s. The lyrics and the music were of punk rock origin, with gothic, pessimistic attitude and clear heavy metal elements. Their line up changed multiple times. Τhey started in easter of 1982 under the moniker Αντι-κουλτούρα (Anti-Kultura, translation: Anticulture), the name changed to Chaos Generation and finally in 1984 they became Γενιά Του Χάους. Παναγιώτης Τούντας (Panayiotis Toundas; c.1885-1942) was a Greek musician and composer. Toundas was born in Smyrna (now İzmir) in either 1885 or 1886. His family were fairly wealthy. From an early age he learned to play the mandolin, as well as other instruments. Around the turn of the century he joined "The Politakia" -- a Smyrniot ensemble run by Sideras.
