Amorroma is een folkduo c.q. eigentijdse muziekgroep (balfolk) uit België, met wortels in traditionele West-Europese dansmuziek (volksmuziek/wereldmuziek)/Volksmuziek in Nederland en België.
De groep is in het jaar 2000 opgericht door blokfluitist, doedelzakspeler en zanger Jowan Merckx (1961). Hij studeerde blokfluit aan het Lemmensinstituut te Leuven en behaalde zijn diploma in 1996. Ook de andere muzikanten zijn afgestudeerd aan een conservatorium. Amorroma speelt in de nieuwe formatie als duo met Sarah Ridy (1981).
