Hollywood Vampires is an American rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry to honor the music of the rock stars who died from excess in the 1970s. The band name derives from The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 1970s whose members included Ringo Starr and Keith Moon of The Who. The Hollywood Flames was an American RnB group formed in 1949 out of the Watts section of Los Angeles. The original members included Bobby Byrd (lead), Bobby Byrd also know as "Bobby Day" famous for his bg hit "Rockin Robin" David Ford, Curlee Dickins and Willie Ray Rockwell.
